Because the Ministry of Health does not provide funding, we must achieve 100% of our program budget through donations and efforts such as the Moonlit Memory Walk.  Directing Signature Event Funds to a specific umbrella of Daval Care was a strategic decision made by the organization.  Such an effort allows us to raise funds AND awareness is a social and non-invasive way.

 

Moonlit Memory Walk raises funds and awareness for the programs that support any member of our community who is suffering a loss.  Daval Hospice’s services are woven together by our grief and loss programs that are able to care for:

 

• Any individual who has been diagnosed with a life threatening illness

• Any family member of a recently diagnosed loved one

• Any person who requires support as the result of a loss either sudden or expected due to death
